That thing is as big as the one i had to face solo in my dream that was peeking into our reality several times before appearing. Though the anime one looks softer,squishier and not coated in stone-like layer.

You mean Gol Dragon from this game i just googled? It was like tiny and skinny version of that huge dragon.

It was quite huge in-game, it looked small from medium distance but up close you were like a finger on it, breathed fire, and had an attack where it goes up then lands on top smashing you.

Yeah,now imagine a thicker version and bigger version(than i saw in the video of that dragon) and a female summoner like 50 meters near it and a fleet of helicopters called "white wings"(they had white hussar wing on the chopper doors) completely destroyed by the summoner's telekinesis midst their flight,bodies laying everywhere and one of the dying people saying "its her fault" then dying + make it realistic and you get my dream.

From what I can see, it looks like their strongest caliber gun is their 20 mm AA, which I would presume won't do anything against the thick armor like scales of a dragon. If they have ATGMs and/or MANPATs they might stand a chance.

All-in-all this was really just a discount Gate episode. And 61 vs 20k? Did they really have enough ammo? Well, let's not question the little things and just enjoy it.

her strategy is crushed the 1st wave of soldiers in order to win the war she already crushed the 1st wave even if they were still alive the enemy monster and soldiers with the general are now mentally unstable the moral is gone.. now the big question is do they have cannons or RPG to kill the dragon since dragon scales are like metals AKA a flying tank.
i forgot to add she dress like that "cosplay" because she fake her identity as a high ranking noble AKA royalty of another country and by bringing an army even if its only 60 people the empire will acknowledge that she is a royal from another country LOL that's the outfit is for.

I dont think an RPG can kill a dragon. I'd say an M82 would be their best chance. i'm like 85% sure it can pierce its scales and do some heavy damage to its brain.

RPGs can take out tanks. Why do you think an M82 would be better? Range and speed? My first thought when I saw the dragon was an RPG or Stinger.

HEAT doesn't kill with explosives, it uses explosives to make a ridiculously fast bullet that quickly looses its energy, older RPGs can actually be countered by thick layer of cardboard ontop of light armor by having it go off too early, loosing it's energy before it hits the actual armor. It'll pirce a quarter sized hole and 2-4 feet of damage. Deadly to tanks with delicate internals, less so to solid mussels. Stingers, like 99% of AA missiles (besides the nuclear ones) can only damage unarmored targets.

even if these boys aren't funded sufficiently to be carrying DU rounds for their larger firearms... like that 20mm AAG... the Browning 50's they have could be firing the tungsten core AP bullets mixed with standard FMJ Ball or even incendiaries.

Whilst Missiles, Bombs, Nuclear-Weapons, M82s, RPGs, Stingers, et-cetera, may be powerful weapons... I have other thought in mind... : Directed Energy Weaponry

That might work if in their defense magic isn't a factor. I've only seen a nuke used once in an isekai anime (High School Prodigies Have It Easy Even In Another World) and that still didn't entirely kill their target due to magic.

Have yet to see any «magic» used by this world's population. And, even if they had magic-abilities, even magic should still «decay/deteriorate» when subjected to high-number-element (on the periodic-table) radiation/radio-activity, such that, a Directed Energy Weapon should be able to obliterate/pulverise even a Dragon with steel-hard scales, not that many people even know anything about DEWs...

Good point, but I did just watch goblins get up or simply shrug off gunfire as if they were zombies (head shots worked). So... I'm really confused about how reality functions in this series.

Artillery with inertial navigation would probably do the trick. If not Manpads. Too bad they did not bring an Apache helicopter or a M-1 Abrams.

Rather than relying on physical-projectiles its very Molecular-Structure can be targeted with Directed Energy Weaponry... although this is not very well-known Technology.

Would be enough just to take out its eyes or wings and if its badly wounded it might retreat and any moral thats left among the soldiers will be gone with it

I would go with Directed Energy Weaponry.
How it works is basically, try imagining a micro-wave running with its door open, but, now, funnel all of that radiation into something of a cannon-shape, multiply its size, power-output, perhaps even combine it with Scalar-Wave Vortex-Frequencies for good measure, then, you end up with what is essentially something of a High-Powered Micro-Wave Disintegrating-Heat Laser-Beam... this is the equivalent of holding a magnifying glass above an ant and focusing the sun-light to burn it into a crispy critter... although, I suppose, this would be a case of aiming it at a dragon, and if the beam is not big enough to fry the whole entire dragon, then, pin-point precision-aiming between its eyes should at least fry its brain...

Directed Energy Weapons would be far more effective than RPGs, but, few people even know about this type of Zero-Point Energy Technology/Weaponry.
